The 5+5 Fundraising ChallengeI'm sure you will be pleased when I tell you that Celf o Gwmpas has so far survived the cuts to our funding that we experienced earlier this year. We appealed against the decision and had some wonderful support from our members, Powys County Council and politicians. Despite this support however we lost our appeal. We did not lose our faith in Celf o Gwmpas however, and I have been very touched by the level of support and generous donations that we have received. We are however facing a shortfall toward the end of this year, and we are asking all our members and supporters to join in our latest fundraising campaign. It's really very simple. The 5 plus 5 campaign sets you a challenge! How many people can you ask to spend five minutes of their time, so that you can tell them how much good work Celf o Gwmpas does, and convince them to give you a £5 donation for Celf o Gwmpas. Sign up for the challenge and we will send you an authorised badge, cards, fliers and all that we think you need to encourage others to share your support of Celf o Gwmpas. In reward for all your hard work, we will lay on a celebratory lunch at our gallery in Llandrindod Wells, and the person who has raised the most money will be invited to chose a piece of artwork from one of the artists at Celf o Gwmpas.
